I don’t laugh at my parents. I don’t even laugh at funny looking people. But it never fails, every time I visit the zoo, I laugh inwardly at the monkeys and think the apes and gorillas are ugly. I’ve also pointed at them while I’m laughing. I may laugh inwardly, but hey, I’m still laughing at them.
It seems to me that common courtesy would keep me from laughing at my ancestors.

Why do I not do it now, but when I see them in cages, I do?
